Anything done by the tandem formed by filmmakers  Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani is already a mandatory MUST SEE. Especially, their The ABCs of Death (2012) segment “O is for Orgasm” and their debut feature film Amer (2009), but not forgetting their most recent work until date The Strange Color of Your Body’s Tears (original title L’étrange couleur des larmes de ton corps) (2013). For their next movie, they didn’t choose one of their own stories but decided to adapt a novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette & Jean-Pierre Bastid, although the duo of directors wrote the screenplay.

Let the Corpses Tan (original title Laissez bronzer les cadavres) (2017) is about Rhino and his gang steal a cache of gold. They believe they’ve found the perfect hideout: a remote and abandoned hamlet that has been taken over by a woman who is searching for inspiration.
