After being released on the network Syfy, Jeepers Creepers III (2017) (also known as Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral) will be part of the Netflix catalog from the 19th of October. The film was surrounded by a lot of controversies due to the legal problem its writer and director Victor Salva has had in the past, and that clearly affected the distribution of the movie, the theatrical releases were canceled and its broadcasting was minimized. But since the beginning there were rumors that popular Video on Demand platform Netflix would sooner or later achieve the distribution rights of the movie, and this moment is coming.
Jeepers Creepers III (2017) takes place right after the end of the first film, Sgt. Tubbs teams with a group of hunters from Wheaton Valley to find and stop the creeper before the end of its 23-day feeding frenzy. Gina Philips, Meg Foster, Carrie Lazar, Stan Shaw, Gabrielle Haugh, Brandon Smith, Jordan Salloum, Chester Rushing, Jason Bayle, Ryan Moore, Michael Sirow and Joyce Giraud are the main stars of the show where Jonathan Breck reprises his role as The Creeper.
Regarding the movie main star Gina Philips, a fourth installment is already being planned and will be made if this third one becomes profitable. At first, due to the release complications, that option was pretty much dropped out. Now we will have to wait and see the performance the movie has on Netflix, and then maybe the platform makes the step forward to green light an own production. Until that moment, let’s wait for Jeepers Creepers III (2017) to come out online worldwide in merely a few weeks. You can watch its trailer here:
