Romero, Sam Raimi, Jeff Goldblum, David Lynch, Dario Argento, Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Luc Besson, Alexandre Aja or James Woods have been some of the most notorious awarded. Celebrating the 25 years since the release of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula (1992), the figure of the Transylvanian county will be the main theme of this year’s festival. Another special event, happening every year, is the already notorious Zombie Walk, happening the first Saturday of the festival, which this year is the 7th of October. It’s also been announced today that actress Susan Sarandon will be visiting Sitges 2017 to receive the Grand Honorary Award.
