A bunch of dead presidents come back to life in horror-comedy "Re-Elected"

Americans tend to be very proud of their country and the ones called the fathers of democracy. But what happens with those loved history figures go back on Earth as flesh-eating zombies? Will you embrace the Yankee pride and kiss their ass? Or will you run for your life? And that dilemma is presented to a group of youngsters in the horror-comedy Re-Elected (2020). George Washington and Abraham Lincoln woke up with the munchies.

Deep in the woods on the 4th of July, siblings Nate and Angela must face off against the zombies of American presidents, and their worst nightmare — spending an entire evening together.

The movie is produced, written, and directed by Max Radbill. This is his second feature film after the comedy The Sisterhood of Girls Who Won’t Date Me (2017). His frequent collaborator Eric Looney is the co-writer and co-producer of the film.

The main cast is formed by Cameron Gilliam, Natasha Mercado, Gabriel F. Bellotti, Matthew DeHoff, Rebecca Clendaniel, Kayvon Kaliush, Chloe Mikala, and Robert Felsted Jr.

Re-Elected (2020) was the winner of the July Award for Best Feature at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival. The movie is coming out on digital on June 29, 2021. Here you can watch its official trailer.
