Prolific horror writer, producer, director, and jack-of-all-trades Todd Sheets is returning with another creepy story to add to his already wide stack. This time weird monster creatures are not the main subject of the film, but a deranged serial killer. Take a look at the horror-thriller Final Caller (2020).
The movie centers on Roland Bennett, an obnoxious late-night radio personality specializing in the supernatural is not having a good night. A visit from his soon-to-be ex-wife brings divorce papers to the station, a boss is listening in due to complaints, and a call from self-proclaimed serial killer “The Outsider” who threatens to kill a woman live on the air. Being live on the air tonight will spell death for all involved.
The movie has been produced, written, and directed by Todd Sheets, the man responsible for the B-movie titles like Clownado (2018), Bonehill Road (2017), Dreaming Purple Neon (2016), House of Forbidden Secrets (2013), Fear of the Dark (2005) and segments in Grindsploitation (2016) and its sequel Grindsploitation 2: The Lost Reels (2016). And, as it’s usual in his projects, he has also taken charge of other duties like film editing.
Final Caller (2020) is starring Douglas Epps, Rachel Lagen, Alexander Brotherton, Jack McCord, Jane Plumberg, Dilynn Fawn Harvey, Andrew Baltes, and Julie Anne Prescott.
