"Ghost in the Shell" is starting to look fantastic! Check out its final trailer

The long awaited adaptation of the Masamune Shirow manga is coming out in theatres the 30th of March. It’s right at the corner! And to warm up the motors and get the fans wet, an spectacular final trailer has been just released.

Lots of action, science fiction and a big dose of futuristic images are expected. This is the plot, straight from Paramount Pictures: “Based on the internationally acclaimed sci-fi manga series, Ghost in the Shell (2017) follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.”

The film is directed by young Rupert Sanders, whose only title until the date was Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). The film wasn’t the best one, we have to admit that, but it was entertaining and visually quite stunning. So many hopes and doubts grew when this ambitious project fell on his hands, with a big budget, big expectations and a big stars line up with names like Scarlett Johansson, Michael Pitt, Michael Wincott, Juliette Binoche, Rila Fukushima and our beloved Takeshi Kitano.
