Kane "Jason Voorhees" Hodder kills again in Tubi's original horror movie "Tow"

Tow (2022) is a slasher horror movie about two twin sisters who must confront their past when their attempted killer re-enters their lives. And, if you didn’t join the dots with this small description and the headline, the serial killer is played by Kane Hodder, the actor who has immortalized Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989), Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), and Jason X (2001), as well as Victor Crowley in Hatchet (2006), Hatchet II (2010), Hatchet III (2013), and Victor Crowley (2017) among many other horror productions.

In the movie, Maddie and Abi are twin sisters, and famously the only victims to ever escape the notorious serial killer known as The Mechanic. Years after their near escape, The Mechanic is finally scheduled to be executed for his horrific crimes. But what should be a moment of closure for the sisters ends up unleashing something far more insidious. As they try to leave behind the trauma of their experience, their connection to The Mechanic haunts them and begins to slowly take over their minds.

This is the debut feature film of the director Vanessa Alexander. The screenplay has been written by Jesse Mittelstadt, the writer of Across the Hall (2009), Altitude (2017), and No Escape Room (2018), together with the star of the film Caitlin Gerard.

Alongside Caitlin Gerard, the main cast is formed by Abe Bueno-Jallad, Jeremiah Bitsui, Pope Bustos, Jerry G. Angelo, Brian Dare, Delyn Wall, Keziah Wall, Henry Foster Brown, Mike Capozzi, and Kane Hodder as The Mechanic.

Tow (2022) premiered on the streaming platform Tubi on June 24, 2022. Here you can watch its official trailer.
