I don’t know what could be most mysterious for me, the infinite possibilities of the human brain or discovering all the forces and various astral elements that are inhabiting the sidereal space. Because every time the concept of astral traveling or any other sort of mental opening of the doors of outer space is on the table, all my interest is there.
Illuminate (2020) seems to be a good example of that. In it, a luminous force within Mount Shasta may hold clues behind the disappearance of Emma Rose’s brother and grandfather. Emma discovers her unique ability to astral travel back through time which may unlock the mystery of their disappearance.
This is the new movie from writer and director James Cardoza, after debuting with a feature film with horror Interlaced (2018). The main cast for the movie is formed by Ava Cardoza, Sabra Morin, Quinn Stahlman, and Rebecca Cardoza.
