"Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism": Torn between science and faith only an exorcist will save her

It might be presented as such, but Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism (2023) is not the typical exorcism horror film. The movie is based on a true premise of an Australian exorcism.

The movie centers on Lara, a tormented woman torn between science and faith. Pushed by her husband to seek treatment from a congregation of zealots, a ruthless exorcist will try to save her soul by putting an innocent woman through hell.

Nick Kozakis, a short films and music videos maker who was also the co-director of the science-fiction and horror Plague (2014), has been responsible for Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism (2023). Alexander Angliss-Wilson, Sarah Baker, and Jason Buckley are the writers of the screenplay.

Georgia Eyers, Dan Ewing, Tim Pocock, Rosie Traynor, John Wood, Eliza Matengu, Ella Bourne, and Sunny S. Walia form the main cast.

Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism (2023) had its world premiere last week at the Overlook Film Festival where it achieved mostly positive reviews. XYZ Films have distribution rights for the film and has scheduled it for a limited theatrical and Video on Demand release on April 6, 2023.
